The Volusia County Commission needs to hear from the supporters of beach restoration so that they know members of the community are behind the restoration effort and want them to take the necessary actions to allow the specifics of the project to continue to be developed.
We realize there is still uncertainty on the exact funding mechanisms, cost, etc., but the fact that we support beach restoration as a concept is what the commission needs to hear now.
If you have not already submitted a letter in support of the project to the commission, please follow the appropriate link below to complete a letter of support! There you will find letters of support by category. Please complete the letter that applies to your situation. It would be great if you would personalize your letter somewhat, but if you are not comfortable doing that, we understand. The most important thing is to stand up and be counted as supporting the concept of beach restoration in New Smyrna Beach.
