| Sand Key in 2000. The Sand Key project was designed with a
nourishment cycle of five years. As a result of monitoring, it
was found to have performed better than expected. It is a large project, with 9.3 miles of shoreline. Even without the 2004 hurricane season, this would be considered an excellent performance by their beach! |
